I can't even fathom or see the depths of the family's grief in losing so many of them at one time to this type of tragedy. One close family member would tear me and the family apart. What is so ironic that most of the drunk drivers who causes so much damage, can walk away with little or no injuries -- their cars and trucks are totalled, yet they are not. There have been times when I have witnessed a drunk driver, that I have called 911, given their tag numbers and location. More people should do just that. If the driver who is so sorry should have thought about that before he got behind the wheel of a truck. Family and friends discourage their driving, but they don't listen. I wished an apparatus could be attached to cars of people who had been charged/arrested for DUI, that their vehicle wouldn't start if they blew in it, and it traced alcohol. Somehow, they would probably get around that by getting some sobber person to blow in it.

Winstrv, I agree with you. We all know drunk driving is not only stupid and dangerous, it's against the law as well. And at 24 years of age, this guy is old enough to know better. I think drunk drivers who kill should be charged with murder one. And for those bleeding hearts who say that this driver will be haunted by the fact that he killed 5 people for the rest of his lives, you know what I say to that? GOOD!

This is a good example of why they should have the death penalty. I'll bet this is not the first time this person has driven drunk.

This is a true tragedy. My prayers go out to the family.
