Woman Dies of Crash Injuries

CASCADE, Md. - The Washington County Sheriff's Department says a woman has died of injuries in a two-vehicle crash in Cascade last week.
Twenty-eight-year-old Shelby Alana Wolfe of Sabillasville died late Friday at Shock Trauma in Baltimore. She had been taken there from Washington County Hospital.
The crash happened shortly before 1 a.m. Thursday in the 14000 block of Macfee Hill Road.
Authorities say Wolfe left a bar in Cascade and drove in pursuit of a pickup truck. She sideswiped the truck, lost control of her vehicle and struck a concrete footer at a railroad signal.
The driver of the pickup truck was not hurt.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
