(Sports Network) - Chris Duhon was one of five Knicks in double figures, finishing with a game-high 25 points and nine assists, as New York fended off the Detroit Pistons, 104-92, at Madison Square Garden.

Quentin Richardson had 23 points, while Al Harrington chipped in 18 points and six rebounds for the Knicks, who snapped a three-game losing streak. David Lee pulled down a game-high 19 boards and netted 12 points in the victory.

Tayshaun Prince poured in 23 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to pace the Pistons, who have lost three of four. Allen Iverson and Arron Afflalo scored 17 points apiece, while Richard Hamilton added 16 before he was ejected early in the fourth quarter after picking up his second technical.

Down 81-63, the Pistons fought back, going on an 11-1 run to begin the fourth quarter, slicing the deficit to single digits. A pair of free throws by Iverson whittled New York's lead to 91-86 with about four minutes remaining.

Harrington nailed a three-pointer to make it 99-90 with 1:21 to play and New York held on down the stretch.

"The bad thing is, we let a big lead go," said Duhon. "The good thing is, even though when they came back, we kept our composure and made key plays down the stretch."

New York got off to a quick 10-0 start, taking advantage of the Pistons inept shooting. Detroit missed its first seven shots and trailed 26-10 following a layup by Tim Thomas. Jared Jeffries hit 1-of-2 from the line to make it 29-12, capping a superb opening quarter for the hosts.

"Once again, the starters got off to a slow start," said Prince. "It's something coach (Michael Curry) has been trying to figure out. If you let a team like the Knicks, who shoot the ball really well, get open shots, they get their confidence up and things happen like they did today."

The Knicks continued to pull away in the second frame, leading 58-29 after Harrington drained a three-pointer, and carried a comfortable 65-43 advantage into the break.

A Rasheed Wallace jumper pulled the Pistons to within 74-59, but Jeffries' slam pushed the lead back to 22 and New York led 81-63 after three quarters.
