COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland football team practiced in the cold this week to prepare for the elements they may face Tuesday at the Humanitarian Bowl in Boise, Idaho.

The Terrapins practiced Monday night in College Park, with temperatures in the low 20s. Quarterback Chris Turner doesn't think the weather in Boise will be a significant factor for the Terps, but coach Ralph Friedgen wants his team to be ready for the snow and the cold.

Maryland hasn't played in snow this season. The Terps will face Nevada on Tuesday at Bronco Stadium.
