(Sports Network) - Utah Jazz forward Paul Millsap will be out for 7-to-10 days with a sprained posterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.
An MRI taken Wednesday revealed that the PCL is torn but will not require surgery. Millsap was on the court for Utah's shootaround on Friday, but will not play starting with Friday's contest against the Mavericks.
Millsap was helped off the court late in the opening period of Tuesday's 94-86 loss in Milwaukee after colliding with Michael Redd of the Bucks. He clutched his knee in pain but X-rays in the locker room proved to be negative.
In the second half, Millsap came out of the locker room wearing a brace and finished with 11 points and nine rebounds.
Jazz center Mehmet Okur is also doubtful for Friday's game due to recurring back spasms.
In addition, forward Carlos Boozer will not play due to knee and leg injuries initially sustained last month. He is scheduled to have an MRI in Los Angeles on Monday.
