WASHINGTON - Firefighters and DPW workers spent part of the morning figuring out how to remove a car from a large hole in Northeast.
D.C. police say the vehicle may have been involved in a hit-and-run collision before it fell into the hole near the intersection of 17th and Gale streets NE sometime after 10 a.m.
No one was hurt.
The driver fled the scene, police said.
