ABC7’S BRIAN van de GRAAFF: 5:08 – 7:08AM
Patchy morning fog is settling in, especially northwest of DC where an advisory is in place.
As one storm system has pulled away, another system in the Deep South will slowly track north and affect our weather over the next few days. The day begins with some sun (and patchy fog) but will end up cloudy with rain eventually moving in late-day from the southwest. Showers pick-up tonight and continue through Tuesday and possibly into Wednesday morning. Some spots could see some appreciable rain. It will also warm over the coming days with highs in the 80s by Wednesday before high pressure brings the return of sunshine and cooler air for the end of the week. Have a great day!
