ABC7’S BRIAN van de GRAAFF: 5:08 – 9:08AM
Sunny and pleasant to end the work week followed by cooler and unsettled conditions to end this weekend.
As high pressure moves closer to the region we will enjoy delightful weather with abundant sunshine, warm temperatures in the low 80s, and, thankfully, low humidity. The weekend will bring significant changes, however, as the high pressure cell pushes eastward and a cold front approaches the area. After some morning sunshine, clouds will increase Saturday with showers possible in the afternoon ahead of the front. The clouds and showers will keep temperatures a bit cooler with highs in the mid-70s.
Once the front clears the area, Sunday will bring a drastic change with highs only in the 50s along with considerable cloud cover and rain showers. The cooler-than-average weather will persist into Monday although the return of sunshine will make it feel more tolerable. Have a great weekend!
