Pleasant and cool conditions will continue through the rest of the work week. High pressure is settling into the D.C. region, so expect vast sunshine today and tomorrow, however, we'll remain on the cool side of this high pressure system, so afternoon highs will only be near 50° through Thursday. Temperatures will rise a few degrees by Friday and Saturday, but highs will remain a little below average. We have been talking about the next chance of rain being Sunday and Monday, but there has been a lot of uncertainty with this system. As of now, the trends and general model consensus keeps the precipitation offshore and away from Washington. This may change in the coming days, so we'll keep an eye on it an update accordingly.
