Today's Forecast

ABC7’S BRIAN van de GRAAFF

We start gray but will finish with sunshine!

Those darn clouds continue to linger this morning with even a couple of sprinkles early on south and east of town through southern Maryland. Skies will clear into the afternoon as temperatures inch slightly upward into the middle 50s. Tomorrow will bring plenty of sun from dawn until dusk with similar numbers in the mid 50s. It will be perfect for the 15th Annual Montgomery Thanksgiving Parade in Downtown Silver Spring. The parade steps off at 10am and once again, yours truly will emcee the event. Plus, it will be broadcast live on NewsChannel 8 with an encore performance on Thanksgiving Day.

The coastal system we have been watching on our forecast models looks to stay out to sea, so some added cloud cover Sunday is about all the entire region should expect. Heading into the big travel week, the weather looks calm and actually mild as temperatures should push to near 60 by Thanksgiving Day with partly to mostly sunny skies. Have a great day!
