Today's Forecast

ABC7’S BRIAN van de GRAAFF

Mostly sunny but much cooler today with another warming trend beginning tomorrow…

We peaked at 63° yesterday a little after 4AM and it was downhill from there! We are getting off to a frosty start across the region with a lot of 20s and 30s to start your Thursday. But, sunshine returns with chilly afternoon highs in the mid 40s. That will be followed by more clouds and a chance of showers Friday west of the Blue Ridge, as a warm front lifts north. A few of these showers will sneak into the District late Friday night and early Saturday, but most of the daylight hours remain dry both days.

Temperatures will climb into the 60s this weekend behind the warm front. Expect a mix of clouds and sun to start the weekend with the next threat of showers on Sunday and Monday, as a cold front arrives. Only modified Pacific cooled air is expected behind the front Tuesday. No threat of any wintry weather for at least the next week. Have a great day!
