ABC7’S BRIAN van de GRAAFF
I hope you got a chance to check out the spectacular Geminid Meteor Showers last night and if not you’ll have another opportunity tonight!
A strong high pressure brought clear skies again this morning along with 20s and 30s. Wall to wall sunshine is expected with low 50s today. Clouds will increase by Saturday afternoon ahead of the next low pressure, but it will still be a decent day with low 50s once again. A bit of light rain is possible on Sunday as the next weather maker moves into the East.
It will be followed by a few weaker energy ripples that will slide through the West and head into the East bringing a threat for showers (as we remain on the warm side of these systems) Monday and Tuesday. It then appears a stronger upper wave will arrive late Tuesday and bring a chance of rain before colder, drier air moves in by midweek. Rain total Sunday through Tuesday of only 0.25-0.50 inch expected (not even a drop compared to the yearly deficit). Have a great weekend!
