ABC7’S BRIAN van de GRAAFF
Calm weather pattern persists into the foreseeable future…
Morning clouds will give way to sunshine as high pressure eventually settles in. A very weak cold front will slide through with little fanfare late Thursday followed by a period of brisk winds (gusts up to 30 mph) on Friday. Otherwise, weather systems will slide by to our north in Canada and south along the Gulf Coast with a period of high pressure and sunshine being the main weather staple through the middle of next week. Plus, we expect a gradual warming trend into early next week. Have a great day!
**Just a note: The average temperature for 2012 was 61.5 degrees, which completely blew away 1991 as the warmest year on record for Washington. (1991 was 60.2 degrees) Read more in the latest Stormwatch 7 blog post here.
