Today's Forecast

ABC7’S BRIAN van de GRAAFF

Our mild winter has come to a screeching halt…

Exactly 2 years to the day an outbreak of artic air will once again hold downtown high temperatures below freezing! Despite sunshine, it will be extremely bitter as winds out of the northwest could gust in excess of 25mph at times. This combined with temperatures in the 20s, will lead to wind chills in the teens and single digits! Tomorrow will bring a less intense wind, but temperatures will remain sub-freezing. By Thursday highs may peak near 30° and low to mid 30s by Friday.

We continue to monitor a potential fast moving storm that will form late week to our west before passing just to our north. In this scenario a dreaded "wintery mix" could be a possibility on Friday. We will keep you updated….stay warm and have a great day!
