Today's Forecast

ABC7’S BRIAN van de GRAAFF

A damp morning rush, but becoming milder with some sun later today…

A low pressure system marched eastward overnight, spreading rain across the area. According to our exclusive Weatherbug network most of the region picked up less than ¼ inch of rain. The showers will taper from west to east through the morning with late day sunshine likely, helping to boost temperatures into the mid and upper 50s. Tonight a cold front will slip through the region, shifting our winds to the west and northwest and inviting drier air into the region for Tuesday. We should see abundant sunshine Tuesday with pleasant highs near 50° with a bit of a breeze.

On Wednesday, we will be watching an area of low pressure in the Deep South that will head northeastward. Latest guidance would suggest some morning sunshine before increasing clouds with some afternoon rain. However, into the evening there is a chance we could see a mix and or a changeover to snow. Stay tuned and have a great week!
