Today's Forecast

ABC7’S BRIAN van de GRAAFF

WIND AVISORY in effect for areas far west and southwest of DC until 10AM for gusts up to 45mph.

Sun returns today, with a bit of a breeze which should subside by afternoon. Expect above normal highs in the low 50s. Meanwhile a southern stream system will approach the region through the day tomorrow increasing cloudiness and eventually overspreading the area with some late-day rain. With temperatures dropping by evening there is good likelihood that the rain may mix and change over to snow. At this point some minor accumulations, especially on grassy areas would be possible, especially since we have been mild the last few days. However, the further north and west you head from town could see a bit more (an inch or two). Stay tuned for updates and enjoy this great day!
