FROM ABC7’S BRIAN van de GRAAFF
Clouds will be on the increase today but it will be mild….
Clouds will continue to increase today, but it will be the warmest day until early next week. Temperatures will skyrocket into the 50s with a few rain showers ahead of the front late in the afternoon. The front moves through as a low pressure develops along its southern flank on the Carolina Coast and tracks north and east. A period of wet snow possible late tonight/early Saturday east of the Blue Ridge and could put down a coating to an inch, mainly on grassy areas! Gusty winds too will build in during the afternoon Saturday and stay through Sunday. High pressure brings a return to more tolerable weather Monday before another weather system approaches… this one from the west, bringing the threat of rain by Tuesday. Have a great weekend.
