Today's Forecast

FROM ABC7’S BRIAN van de GRAAFF

Very cold start and with some lingering moisture on road surfaces, slick spots are possible…

Gusty northwest breezes pick up again today and despite a mostly sunny sky, temperatures will be held in the lower 40s with chills in the 30s! Finally, winds will subside overnight as the same weather system bringing wintery weather to the Central U.S. edges closer. Warm air lifting over a cold dome of air at the surface could bring a period of sleet, possibly snow Friday afternoon/evening before changing to rain. However, the moisture with this system is very limited and temperatures should be just above freezing, limiting issues on roadways. A new system will form off the coast and keep us cloudy with scattered showers Saturday before drier conditions return to start the new week. Have a great day!
