A cold front is crawling east bringing rain showers from west to east across our region. The wet weather continues through midday with perhaps one-half to three-quarters of an inch of rainfall possible. The rain will taper by afternoon with the passage of the cold front and some late-day sun is likely. Temperatures will still be very mild with highs approaching 60 degrees.

Behind the cold front, our winds will become northwesterly, ushering in cooler weather for the second half of the work week. Highs will only reach the mid 50s Wednesday under a mix of clouds and sun. A late day sprinkle cannot be ruled out. Winds will kick on Thursday with the mercury holding in the 40s. We should recover into the low 50s by this Friday. The good news is that we will see a good deal of sunshine all three of those days. Have a great day!
