Today's Forecast

Continued taste of spring through the week should push blossoms to peak.

Southerly breezes and sunshine produced a gusty, yet beautiful end to the weekend as many communities got close to 70 degrees; with 71 degrees reported at Reagan National Airport. Partly to mostly sunny skies prevail today with continued mild air, with less of a breeze out of the south. Highs will peak in the lower to middle 70s! An area of low pressure passing to the north could trigger a sprinkle late tonight into Tuesday, but I think chances are slim and precipitation would be light!

Tomorrow looks even warmer with a southerly breeze and a partly sunny sky that will help boost temperatures to near 80°. The middle of the week will bring the warmest weather with highs in the low to middle 80s Wednesday and near 80 Thursday- that's about 15 degrees above average! By late in the day Thursday, a strong cold front will march toward the area, bringing showers and thunderstorms followed by cooler and more seasonable weather Friday and the weekend. Have a great day!
