Today's Forecast

FROM ABC7’S BRIAN van de GRAAFF

Wet start to the week…so as you head out pack your umbrella and some patience!

Off and on rain is likely today as an area of low pressure crawls across the area. Areas east of the city get more rainfall than those to the west, with possible up to one inch in spots! The storm will be slow to exit the region so we expect at least the chance of lingering hit or miss showers Tuesday. Highs will remain cooler-than-average in the 60s.
The second half of the week looks a bit more encouraging for at least some drier weather. Wednesday looks mostly cloudy and while we cannot rule out a few light showers or sprinkles thanks to a southeasterly breeze, the bulk of the day is rain-free. High pressure will then take control of the weather for Thursday and Friday, bringing some sunshine back to the region. With a northeasterly breeze, temperatures will remain cooler-than-average with highs again in the middle 60s.
