Today's Forecast

Unsettled weather continues as it becomes warmer and muggier…

Nearly half of this summer has featured rainy days and it would appear we are in no rush to break this pattern. A series of disturbances will continue to drift overhead for the coming days keeping the threat of additional rain, mainly afternoon storms, elevated. The atmosphere will become more saturated and any showers could produce heavy downpours. Highs climb into the upper 80s and remain there into the weekend. At this point rain chances linger for Saturday but diminish for Sunday. Have a great day!

As we head near the end of summer nears, so does the return of ragweed! Typically in the D.C. area it will proliferates in August and peaks in early September. Get the latest in Alex Liggitt's latest StormWatch7 Blog!
