Brian van de Graaff's Hump Day Forecast

Good Morning!-  Hefty storm are possible tonight while you sleep and possible into the early morning rush Thursday...be weather aware.

 >TODAY:

Partly Cloudy, Continued Warm, Spotty PM Storms Esp.West
Highs: 84º-88º
Wind: WSW 5-15 mph

OVERNIGHT:
Scat’d. Hefty Showers and Storms, Gusty Breezes
Lows: 63°-68°
Precipitation: 70% Chance
TOMORROW:
Early AM Showers, Sunshine Returns, Breezy & Less Humid
Lows: Low 80s
Wind: NW 10-15+ mph

With the front stalled just to our south, we may see a slight improvement in humidity levels (briefly) but it will still be every bit as warm with highs in the 80s under a partly to mostly sunny sky. While a good chunk of the metro remains dry, areas off to the west may have to dodge a few showers and thunderstorms. Late tonight into Thursday, a new low pressure center approaches, swinging a cold front through the area. This could lead to more widespread showers and thunderstorms overnight into the Thursday morning rush. While it will impact the start of the day it should be gone in time for midday and afternoon sun. Less humid air slides in setting the stage for anther stellar weekend. Have a great day!
