Violent Solar Flare from Sunspot

Seen pictures of the auroras lately? This is what they are from. This giant sunspot can be seen without a telescope (though I wouldn't look directly at the sun) and has been spitting out Coronal Mass Ejections in the past week. The sunspot should be visible for the next week. You can see the earth was placed on the image as a size comparison.
