Macintosh computer
The Macintosh computer exploded onto the scene in 1984. An epic Super Bowl commercial showed expressionless drones in a dark auditorium. Then a woman in a bright track uniform burst into the hall and launched a hammer into the screen, which exploded as a narrator announced the arrival of the Mac.
