Nightmare commute on Orange Line

A commute Tuesday was filled with delays for some Metro riders after a person was struck by a train at the Clarendon Metro stop. Hundreds of riders were stuck at Rosslyn Metro, where they had to change to commuter buses.

Orange Line service was suspended between Rosslyn and Ballston Metro stations. Hundreds of commuters trying to leave Rosslyn to had to climb up broken escalators, as seen in this photo posted online by Lauren Johnson.
