Protesters gathered at Freedom Plaza today as part of Stop the Machine, which has been permitted and planned for months now. The group's motto is "Human needs, not corporate greed." They then marched past the White House and to the Chamber of Commerce. These demonstrators are not specifically connected to the Occupy DC group who have been stationed in McPherson Square this week.
