Pumpkin patches and corn mazes
This month, spend your weekends loading up on pumpkins to carve for Halloween. Take your family to any of these area farms for a day of fun-filled activities, including corn mazes, hayrides, and games.
Old Mine Ranch
Old Mine Ranch at 17504 Mine Road in Dumfries, Va., is open every day in October from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $8 per child and $6 per adult. Admission includes one train ride, a hay ride, a small pumpkin, and access to the pumpkin painting station, hay maze, slides, animal feed, haunted house, and moon bounce.
