Will Ovechkin’s offensive numbers go back up after a “down” season?
By all accounts, Capitals captain Alexander Ovechkin’s offensive numbers suffered in 2010-11 at the expensive a more defensive team mindset. The Great 8’s 32 goals and 85 points were the lowest of his career thus far. All eyes will be on the Caps star to see if his 50-goal potential returns this season.
