Honor those who have served the country on Veterans Day by paying a visit to one of the area's many war memorials.
D.C. War Memorial
The D.C. War Memorial reopens today after restoration work that's been going on for over a year. The memorial honors D.C. residents who served in World War I, and it's located in West Potomac Park.
