The winter blues, or Seasonal Affective Disorder, is an episode of depression that most often occurs during the winter months, according to the National Institutes of Health. Exercise

It's no secret that exercise improves your mood and combats fatigue. Decreased energy and sluggishness are two major symptoms of SAD. Find a gym or ways to work out in your home if the cold weather is keeping you inside. Exercise will give your mood and health the boost it needs.
