D.C. running clubs: A look at some of the capital's running groups
Throughout the greater Washington area, thousands of people gather to run together as part of one of the region's numerous running clubs. Take a look at some of the clubs on this National Running Day.
Frederick Steeplechasers
Mark Lawrence of the Steeplechasers says the club leads more than 500 training sessions per year in areas such as Baker Park and the Frederick Watershed area. They also provide integral support for a large number of road races along with hosting social events for their growing membership. ONLINE: www.steeplechasers.org
