PHOTOS: Face transplant completed at University of Maryland
A team of doctors at UMD's Medical Center completed a 36-hour full face transplant on March 19 and 20. Richard Lee Norris, 37, of Hillsville, Va., lost his lips and nose and had limited movement of his mouth after a 1997 shooting.
