Angelina Jolie

Jolie is a global humanitarian. She became a Goodwill Ambassador with the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) in 2001. Her humanitarian work has also seeped into her professional and personal lives: Jolie directed a film about the Bosnian war. She has also adopted children from war-torn and impoverished countries.
