It was revealed Thursday that former presidential candidate John Edwards has been named as a client in New York City’s so-called “Soccer Mom Madam” prostitution scheme, Politico reports. Edwards has denied the report. Here's a look back at other sex scandals that have rocked the political arena.
John F. Kennedy
Former President John F. Kennedy gained the reputation of a playboy. He reportedly had affairs with Marilyn Monroe and Marlene Dietrich, among others. In 2011, former White House intern Mimi Alford published a book detailing the alleged affair she had with JFK when she was 19 years old.
