Satellite view of June 29 super Derecho
A color enhanced view of the super line of thunderstorms called a "Derecho" that mowed through our area Friday night The tops of the thunderstorms went into the stratosphere. The dark blue region are cloud tops of 40 below zero after a day of 104 in DC. http://weather.rap.ucar.edu/satellite/
