PHOTOS: AIDS quilt in D.C.

The AIDS Quilt in D.C. tells stories of survival and loss.

RJ Hadley, 50, from Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., served as a volunteer with Quilt in the Capital on Wednesday to watch over several blocks of the AIDS Memorial Quilt laid in front of the American Red Cross. Hadley, who was diagnosed with HIV in 1984, said in 1996 he escorted President Bill Clinton and his wife, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, during their viewing on the National Mall.
