Scotland Volcanic Sculpture
The highest point of the Trotternish Ridge (165 feet), The Storr, is 7 miles north of Portree, Scotland on the Isle of Skye. This ridge is volcanic in origin. The dense volcanic basalt squashed the underlying sedimentary rocks to form the landscape.
