The Eye of Super Typhoon Sanba
The eye of super typhoon Sanba at peak strength with winds of 175 mph. Great image from the NASA AQUA satellite. The clouds around the eye wall are about 10 miles deep and the small vortices in the center of the eye can be seen near the surface of the blue Pacific Ocean.
