2012 9/11 Unity Walk (photos)
The 9/11 Unity Walk brings people from diverse backgrounds and faiths together. It started in 2005 as a response to the Sept. 11 attacks and religious intolerance.
Joshua Salaam gave the Muslim call to prayer inside the Washington Hebrew Congregation at the start of Sunday's 9/11 Unity Walk. Interfaith demonstrations like this took place all afternoon long either at the synagogue, several churches, or the Islamic Center of Washington.
