2012 9/11 Unity Walk (photos)
The 9/11 Unity Walk brings people from diverse backgrounds and faiths together. It started in 2005 as a response to the Sept. 11 attacks and religious intolerance.
A member of the local Sikh community representing the National Gurdwara, a temple on Massachusetts Avenue that closed down earlier this year, helped make lunch for 9/11 Unity Walk participants at St. Alban's Episcopal Church.
