D.C. Fashion Week: Kicks off with eco fashions
Fashion is taking D.C. this week. The annual D.C. Fashion Week, which happens alongside the famous New York Fashion Week, kicked off Monday evening. The first of the string of fashion shows was an eco show Monday.
A model walked the runway during Monday night's Eco Fashion Show, which showcased designs by Isagus Extroversions, Joanna Carrie, MyraSync, and "Project Blue Wrap," an eco-friendly partnership between DC Fashion Week and Inova Health System's Office of Sustainability that featured clothing made from sterile hospital fabric.
