2012 Blessing of the Animals at the Washington National Cathedral
Pets from all over the D.C. area came to the Washington National Cathedral Sunday for the annual Blessing of the Animals, which honors St. Francis of Assisi's love for animals.
Emily Canzoneri holds Bisky during the blessing on Sunday. Emily's mother Sally said the dog was very timid when they first adopted her, but now she's "the princess of the house" and a "world-class beggar."
