2012 Blessing of the Animals at the Washington National Cathedral
Pets from all over the D.C. area came to the Washington National Cathedral Sunday for the annual Blessing of the Animals, which honors St. Francis of Assisi's love for animals.
Frosty, a two-year-old Great Dane from a breeder in Bealeton, Va., arrived at the Washington National Cathedral for a blessing on Sunday afternoon.
