Storm surge Nor'easter
The terrible impacts of Hurricane Sandy still are still with much of the East Coat. This is a simulation from NOAA's Ocean Prediction Center of the ocean level late Wednesday night with a "Nor'Easter" likely to form off the coast. The red to pink colors show those areas likely to see ocean levels rise 2-5 feet and more strong winds and more damage likely along the NY-NE coast
