PHOTOS: Angela McCaskill rally and protest at Gallaudet University
Two groups of protesters with opposing views on gay marriage rallied outside Gallaudet University Thursday. Both were in support of Dr. Angela McCaskill who was placed on administrative leave after signing a petition to put same-sex marriage on Maryland’s November ballot.
Two demonstrations were held simultaneously outside Gallaudet, including one organized by Rev. Anthony Evans (center), president of the National Black Church Initiative. Both protests supported McCaskill, but Evans' group also called for Maryland residents to vote against Question 6.
