Saturday, America's Islamic Heritage Museum, which located in Anacostia, hosted an Islamic Heritage Festival. The festival featured music, food and crafted goods available for sale.
Amir Muhammad, president of America's Islamic Heritage Museum, which hosted Saturday's festival, stood next to a section devoted to Elijah Muhammad, who led the Nation of Islam for over 40 years.
