Sugar: Top negative health effects
Halloween is right around the corner, and before we know it, sugar-filled treats will make their way into our daily diet. While a little candy is never a bad thing, we lay out the serious issues that can come from over-indulging in sugary sweets regularly.
Diabetes
Over-consumption of processed foods and sugars can lead to an increased risk of developing type 2 diabetes. A Harvard University study found that for every cup of soda or juice you consume daily, your chance of developing type 2 diabetes increases by 10 percent.
