Winter Solstice
Friday was the Winter Solstice; the sun is at its lowest in the northern hemisphere. This series of photos was taken in Fairbanks, Alaska (courtesy Jeff Skaggs.) The temperature was around -40°! Have friends in Alaska or Europe? What are they saying about the cold?
