Gingertown: David M. Schwarz Architects annual holiday event
The sweet streets are paved in Reeses Pieces, Rice Krispies and candy canes. And the houses are made of gum drops, chocolates and oodles of imagination. Ladies and gents, welcome to GINGERTOWN!
"Gingertown" took shape on Monday night inside a former Filene's Basement on Connecticut Avenue. This annual fundraiser was created by David M. Schwarz Architects in 2006 and challenges participants to build a gingerbread house in four hours or less.
